The court recognised the settlers' claim to the land, despite it being owned by Palestinians, using a little-known section of military law known as “market regulations” https://t.co/Mep1sYWCZC
NOW: Hundreds of settlers building a new outpost on Palestinian land, after yesterday, occupation soldiers demolished a home for another Palestinian family in Masafer Yatta. They waited til Biden left so the sponsor won't feel uncomfortable seeing what he helps fund: Apartheid.
@SecBlinken@POTUS That's lovely @SecBlinken and @potus. Please give my best wishes to the apartheid war criminals your country supports, (as confirmed by the UN and various media), and let them know there are consequences for their ongoing actions. And what about Shereen Abu Akleh?
@Mondoweiss@SecBlinken. Tony, you now have three independent reports by Al Jazeera, NY Times, Washington Post, and more recently the UNHCR. All come to the same conclusion. Stop with the weasel words AND DO SOMETHING.
@Mondoweiss Time to act is now Messrs Biden and Blinken. This is not one rogue soldier but a state sanctioned killing that is illegal. If not state sanctioned, then why change the narrative? Actions have consequences and in this case the consequences need to be severe.
A Washington Post investigation openly disputes shifting Israeli “claims” about who killed Shireen Abu Akleh, and all but accuses the Israeli army of withholding evidence that its soldier killed her. https://t.co/OY76ajU6pt
The Israeli govt is settling Jewish Ukrainian refugees on land it illegally occupies and prevents 7 million Palestinian refugees from returning to.
Refugees have the right to sanctuary — AND the right to return home.
Pitting refugees against each other is not justice.

@thornhillguy@KhaledAbuToameh@AIPAC Hi Morris. Would you be kind enough to recommend some reading to broaden my mind on the Israel/Palestine situation. I would rather be better informed than accused of ignorance or anti semitism. Bless.
