@WhatTheADHD I think the compelling point of using generative AI will be about building your skills in how you ‘prompt’ it. Much like a more sophisticated ’google search’. chatgpt is quite dumb really, it’s an amazing tool, we just need to understand how to use it 😉

@afneil @afneil tidal power is not enormously expensive. If the first tidal lagoon had been given the CfD it was asking for 5yrs ago. It would be built today, and under current energy costs, it would have been paying into HM Treasury. It also had global export potential.

Question for interplanetary scientists. If complex carbon based life on other planets formed at the same time as earth. Would we expect to see present life on that planet as evolutionary versions of dinosaurs, due to the absence of the comet extinction event experienced on earth?
