Hey @ManCityCouncil, will the pavements be gritted at any point? It's like an ice rink out there and a slip has just set my slipped disc recovery back a month or so.
Again!
How is it a good idea, @northernassist, to cancel both the commuter services that leave a commuter town in the morning?
I bet your timetableing staff drive to work, just like you're forcing me to start doing. I can't rely on your services and do not wish to lose my job
@northernassist@Jon4HighPeak It's not the carriages that are the issue. It's every other service being cancelled. But you know this.
3rd day running, today, the first commuter service out of Hadfield has been cancelled meaning twice the number of people get on the next. It is dangerous.
Can't believe I've come back to 'X' for this.
@northernassist get your shit together ffs. We are being rammed in the few running services like cattle and you are raking in a fortune.
At the same time telling politicians that you will improve whilst getting worse.
@Jon4HighPeak
so, email from outgoing MP Robbie L. Asking me to email him my permission to transfer cases to incoming @Jon4HighPeak
I have a spidey sense for a Nigerian Prince and sorry to say but @robertlargan appears to just be phishing.
Rob, fuck off son.
Labour has won two thirds of the seats with one third of the vote
As it stands, Labour’s vote share is the lowest to have secured a majority. (Let alone a landslide)
To put in context: David Cameron got a higher share of the vote when there was a hung Parliament in 2010
While I'm delighted to see the back of the Tories, this election should remind us that our electoral system is not fit for purpose. It should not be possible to achieve a massive majority on a minority of the vote.
Had a late night visitor last night. Gone 10pm, house was mostly sleeping. Dogs went mad and the gate was broken by the visitor.
@robertlargan your propaganda was delivered, as always, in the most annoying way
@Chirurgic@aphorism_monkey@justacwab Helmets do not, and are not designed to, protect against concussion
You'd need something between your brain and skull for that
@tweetymike@Halfords_uk Saw the @roadcc article.
Had a customer in a week or so ago with stripped stem bolts on a new Halfords bike.
Seems it's national policy from halfords
@stopenfieldltns @RichardM529 @Sim747Sim@lab_laugh Arrogance is beeping your horn at a faster moving vehicle because you don't like that they 'undertook' you and are not subject to the same speed limits as you.
I am of course going by the reported events.
@gazzabiker Work in Salford, live just outside Manchester.
If you need a bike try the beryl/starling bikes. They're not too bad (only half the ones I've riden have comedy cranks on them)
Over a year ago I put in a request to have stickers on the train carriage for where bicycles can be put on the service I get. @northernassist replied and told me they were already there. I confirmed that this stock does not have them.
