The @NGCourtofAppeal is 50 yrs old this year. To mark that, there was supposed to be a special session of the court. It's HQ is in Abuja.
However, the president of the court has now sent out an impromptu notice that the Court will be sitting tomorrow 13 June, 2025 at 9:00 AM or soon thereafter. It is a Saturday.
The Court session will be presided over by Monica Dongban Mensem (President Court of Appeal). The sitting will be hold at Ngwa Rina Ngoot Long Shendam Local Government Council. It is not a seat of the Court.
The only reason is this is also hometown of the President of the Court of Appeal. Matters are listed on the cause list for determination.
@NigBarAssoc Shendam Branch Members are specially invited to this sitting as a mark of courtesy to grace the bar and to show solidarity to Her Lordship.
There is only one name for this, let's be clear. It is #AbuseOfPower!
Dear @OfficialDSSNG,
1st off, thank you very much for this statement. So, let's try & parse your narration a little.
You admit you interdicted @OkeyNdibe on arrival at the #MMIA. The duration is immaterial. What matters is that for the duration that you had him, he could not exercise free movement.
But that is beside the point for now. You say you are doing #WLAHygiene in respect of actions that go back to military rule.
That ended 27 yrs ago. But you admit that Prof Ndibe was #watchlisted in 2013, which was 13 yrs after the return to civil rule. 14 yrs ago, Okey Ndibe was a professor, a writer, & a columnist.
The other thing happening 14 yrs ago was the breakout of #BokoHaram into an insurgency & the onset of murderous terror on #Nigeria.
2013 was incidentally the year that the Tanimu Turaki SAN Committee on the security problems in Northern Nigeria submitted its report to @GEJonathan. 2 yrs earlier, the Gaji Galtimari Committee on the Boko Haram problem also did the same.
Rather than prioritize the fight against those, you chose to watchlist a man whose entire goal & mission has always been to make the country better.
What you need is more than #WLAHygiene. What you need is institutional hygiene. You may wish to take that even more seriously.
@seyedele At a safe RoI of 10% if invested is $200k. That should give a comfortable lifestyle if conservatively managed with moderate international spending.
*MISSING PERSON ALERT 🚨*
This is Glory. She has been missing since Saturday March 14, 2026.
She was last seen at her residence in Ojodu Berger, Ogun state.
If found, please contact her brother David on 07047650834.🙏🏾
Nigerians please we need justice for Elozino Joshualia Ogege. My secondary school friend. She wasn’t just a classmate, she was my friend we sat together in school. She was a decent girl. Elo was not wayward.
They killed her Nigerians. They plucked her eyes while she was alive, breast and heart before she died.
She was a brilliant student, a first-class student from 100 level to 300 level at Delta State University Delsu.
She only went to look for a house to rent Nigerians😭
She told a security man working in DELSU, Onoriode (Onos), who had access to the school environment that she was looking for a house, he then told her he would help her get accommodation. That was how he lured her. Delsu claimed they are contract staff from a security company. Guess what? This security man is an Ex-convict.
He did not act alone.
He worked with other Yahoo boys including Desmond and their gang and with the help of a security supervisor identified as Nwosisi Benedict Uche. The mastermind was a Yahoo boy who came from Ghana, and got those Yahoo boys to look for a girl for ritual for him. He had 2 houses already in Abraka. Elo was not their first victim.
They planned it.
They waited for her inside the school environment, campus 3, overpowered her by putting something on her face and took her away.
They drove her out of Abraka into a bush.
According to their own confession, Elozino was crying and begging them to let her go even after they took her eyes alive she was still begging them. 😭
But they did not stop.
They killed her and removed parts of her body for ritual purposes to use for what they call “Yahoo Plus” money rituals.
They took those parts to a native doctor identified as Ojokojo Robinson Obajero, who they believed would perform money rituals for them.
The police tracked her phone and arrested them after the family reported she was missing because they couldn't reach her.
The Delta State Police PRO, DSP Andrew Aniamaka, confirmed that the suspects confessed and that the crime started as a missing person case before turning into a murder investigation.
Even the Commissioner of Police at the time, Muhammad Mustafa, confirmed arrests and said they were ritual killers.
One of the masterminds even died while trying to escape arrest.
But since 2018… what has happened? Elon have had no justice since 2018.
The case has been in court. Adjournment after adjournment.
Delay after delay. Years have passed. No clear justice. Are they bringing the judge?
My friend left her house to look for accommodation and never came back.
She trusted the wrong person a security man inside her own school. Delsu refused to show concern for their negligence. How can you employ an Ex-convict? Why would a security company employ an Ex-convict?
Elo is gone we know but we want justice. And till today, it feels like justice is still being delayed.
Nigerians, how long will this continue? How long will young girls keep dying like this? How long will cases like this be forgotten?
Please speak up. Please don’t let this case die. Please people I'm begging y'all to help us speak. They already confessed to doing it. They should have been sentenced to death already. All the people involved.
Help us cry for justice @Hybrid_Ola@_meera__abdul@AdageorgeA@oku_yungx@Austeiin@lilyally98@instablog9ja

The joint statement followed the letter the groups sent to Mr Lateef Fagbemi, SAN, the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice.

Justice is a collective effort, and dignity is everyone’s responsibility.
Behind bars, access to skills and basic human care can shape futures, reduce harm, and strengthen reintegration into society. These initiatives exist because justice must also heal.

Dear Mr President @officialABAT,
Please consider reaching out to the families of the deceased as well. At the moment,AJ is probably not worried about himself but his friend's families.Reaching out to his friend relatives would not only mean alot to their families, but AJ as well.
I have spoken with AJ to personally convey my condolences over the passing of his two close associates, Kevin Latif Ayodele and Sina Ghami in the recent accident. I wished him a full and speedy recovery, and prayed with him. AJ assured me he is receiving the best possible care.
I also spoke with his mother and prayed for her. She was deeply appreciative of the call.
Governor Dapo Abiodun, who was at the hospital with them, assured me he will do everything possible to ensure AJ receives the best attention.
May God strengthen the families and grant repose to the souls of the departed.
~ Bola Ahmed Tinubu
Moreso, many locals have died on that road. Please, consider issuing a directive to improve safety requirements on our road and medical emergency response. The FRSC and Fire services ambulances can be stationed on that road for effective response time.
We must not let this incident define us. However, many locals have died on the Lagos-Ibadan road. The @officialABAT government needs to urgently fix how we treat safety requirements on our road. #anthonyjoshuaaccident
The government must urgently improve our emergency response especially on our major highways. My thoughts and prayers are with the family & friends of Joshua and his friends who, unfortunately, lost their lives.
In September, @gbami_by_gavel, our GBV Response Team, received a DM from Chioma (real name withheld) seeking legal help after falling victim to sextortion.
Chioma had been chatting with this man she met online, and their conversations soon became intimate. Trusting him, she shared some explicit photos and videos.
But shortly after, everything changed. The man began to blackmail her. He started demanding money with threats to post her private pictures online. To drive his threat home, he even sent some of those pictures to a close friend of hers.
Out of fear, Chioma sent him money several times, yet the extortion continued. When she finally got tired and refused, the perpetrator took his threat to another level- he threatened to kill her. Terrified for her life and left with no other option, Chioma reached out for help.
She was referred to @gbami_by_gavel, whose legal team immediately took up her case. Despite the physical distance, @gbami_by_gavel ensured that her report reached the relevant authorities, leading to the perpetrator’s arrest last week Friday. In a surprising twist, his wife was also apprehended, as the money extorted from Chioma had been deposited into her account.
Today, we are relieved and proud to see justice served again- with Chioma safe and the perpetrator in custody. Her courage reminds us that silence only protects perpetrators.
If you or someone you know is experiencing tech-enabled gender-based violence, now is the best time to speak up. Send a DM to @gbami_by_gavel or call 0810-284-2542.

27 days after, @ChineduAgu87 remains unjustly detained. Worse still, a Federal High Court judge denied his uncontested bail application, claiming there was no formal charge before the court.
This continued incarceration is a grave injustice and an affront to the rule of law. We demand the immediate release of @ChineduAgu87 and an end to this abuse of power.
