@UziCryptoo By used I doubt people mean only a couple years used, I only buy cars that are around 10 years old. It’s great not having a car payment or spending over $10k for a vehicle. Insurance is cheaper too.
@unusual_whales He never cared for me to change my last name and after looking into how much of a hassle it would be with banking and all the accounts I have it just didn’t seem worth it, I do love his last name though
@apio_clown@sulsurv1vor@Thisisjdf@LOsaParks I have 2 degrees one of them deemed “useless”, & I think there are degrees that shouldn’t qualify for gov loans. Nobody should be able to go into debt w/gov loans for degrees that don’t pay, there are free curriculums available for those who want to learn
@Kopy_Katz@amelia_tweetz Does every job really just have 40 hours of work exactly? I’m my experience, based on workload, some weeks it’s slow w only 15-20 hrs of real work, some 50 hrs. It’s never been a perfect 40.
@Jerematic79@LizHighleyman In 2014 I got my first car and it was $1200 with only 87,000 miles on it. I was only making $200/week pt at fast food. It was a shitbox Chrysler but it worked. Today even the “good deal” shitbox cars are more than double that with more miles and issues
@holtmuer@rhinestoneeye21@cecil_zemus if I’m withdrawing my money to buy a car I don’t need to be interrogated. Imagine the slippery slope of allowing a bank the power to withhold your money because you want to buy a vehicle in cash and they “don’t believe you”
@BMMordor@HabCorpLinguist I know a couple who have rescued 3 pit bulls (while young and trainable) spent tens of thousands of dollars to train all of them, and they still had to get rid of two of them after having children because they remained unpredictably aggressive.
@vancemurphy@NSPArtist Cheap home without regulation - faulty wiring that cause fires, no structural integrity, no insulation, faulty plumbing - you get a planned obsolescence house that if it doesn’t kill its occupants it costs more $$ to fix in the long run
@TeeHottie@Bluerealm@amelia_tweetz You replace a roof what, once every ten years? I’d rather pay for maintenance on a home I owned instead of having landlord raise my rent every year and dictate my life (can’t paint anything, can’t start a garden, can’t choose my appliances, etc)
@jojojo7654@verderebb Why do you think your boss won’t take your work seriously? Did they say that? Or is that something you think and projected onto them. I’ve never worn make up and I’ve never had an issue. Engineering.
