Those who claim Israel was created solely as a result of the Holocaust are perpetuating a false myth, which is absolutely refuted by these documents and events
and as discussed in my book (link below). It might better be asked, if the British Government led by
Neville Chamberlain, in response to the 1936-1939 Arab revolt, had not illegally imposed the White Paper of 1939, would the Holocaust have been averted? In any
event, all the member nations of the League of Nations and the US recognized the legal right of the Jewish people to reconstitute a Jewish state in Israel and in summary the reason was because it was just and right.
As Winston Churchill591 stated, in 1922, the Jews had returned to Palestine "as of right and not by sufferance, and that this was based on their ancient historical connection." Speaking before the Peel Commission years later, in 1937, Churchill snapped at a Commission member who referred to the Jews in Palestine as a "foreign race" and said "The Jews had Palestine before that indigenous population [the Arabs] came in and inhabited it". He was not the only voice who recognized these fundamental truths, the nations of the world did.
Thus, terms like colonialist enterprise or the like are unfounded and inapplicable.
Omar occupied Palestine (Israel) in the 7th century and hence, it was the Arabs who colonized Israel, not the Jews returning home.
Furthermore, consider the statements made by Malcom MacDonald, noted below. MacDonald was the British Colonial Secretary in the Chamberlain Government, which adopted the White Paper and certainly was not prejudiced in favor of the Jews; but rather biased in favor of the Arabs. Remarkably, MacDonald absolutely refuted the allegation that Jews imposed hardships on the Arabs.
In a speech before the House of Commons, on November 24, 1938, he said: The Arabs cannot say that the Jews are driving them out of their country. If not a single Jew had come to Palestine after 1918, I believe that the Arab population of Palestine today would still have been around about the 600,000 figure---instead of over 1,000,000 as at present---at which it had been stable under the Turkish rule. It is because the Jews who have come to Palestine bring modern health
services and other advantages that the Arab men and
women who would have been dead are alive today, that
Arab children who would never have drawn breath have
been born and grow strong. It is not only the Jews who have benefited from the Balfour Declaration. They can deny it as much as they like, but materially the Arabs in Palestine have gained very greatly from the Balfour Declaration.
MacDonald also noted: Since 1922 more than 250,000 Jews have entered Palestine and settled there. Their achievement has been remarkable. They have turned sand dunes into orange groves. They have pushed ever further into waste land the frontiers of cultivation and settlement. They have created a new city, housing to-day 140,000 souls, where before there was only bare seashore. There is no knowing where their
achievement might end if Palestine were empty of all other population and could be handed over to them in fullownership.
MacDonald went on to say:
The Jews are in Palestine not on sufferance but by right.
Another debunked myth is that Palestine was twice promised by the British, once to the Jews in the 1917 Balfour Declaration and also to the Arabs, as described below. This is another baseless myth. The document cited to support this false allegation is the Letter, dated October 24, 1915, from Sir Henry McMahon, His Majesty’s High Commissioner at Cairo, to the Sharif Hussein of Mecca. However, that letter dealing with what would become Arab states, such as Saudi Arabia and Syria, expressly excluded the portions of Syria lying to the west of the districts of Damascus, Homs, Hama and Aleppo, which McMahon noted could not be said to be purely Arab. These excluded areas of Ottoman Syria, a grouping of provinces within the Ottoman Empire, included what would ultimately become Lebanon, as well as the area that would comprise the Palestine Mandate.
McMahon, in a Letter dated July 22, 1937, to the Times of London, in response to those referring to the “McMahon Pledge” as including Palestine, explicitly and emphatically denied this was the case. He went on to note that he had every reason to believe that King Hussein well understood that Palestine was excluded.
The British Government, in its Statement of British Policy in Palestine, dated June 3, 1922, confirmed in no uncertain terms that the whole of Palestine west of the Jordan was excluded from the McMahon Pledge.

Wooden beams dating back to the First and Second Temple periods were found repurposed as beams and as bond timbers in the Al-Aqsa Mosque, when it was seriously damaged in earthquakes and rebuilt.
A Second Temple era Mikvah (Ritual Bath) was found under the Al-Aqsa Mosque, when it was being rebuilt after the earthquake that seriously damaged it in 1927. This is in addition to the two others previously identified on the Temple Mount.
Remains of a defensive wall, dating back approximately 3,000 years ago, to King Solomon’s reign, situated on the edge of Jerusalem, between the Temple Mount and the City of David.
Pilgrimage Road, built by King Herod to ascend from the Pool of Siloam, where would ritually purify themselves on route, to the Second Temple on the Temple Mount.

As Article 24 of the Palestinian National Charter provides: “This Organization does not exercise any regional sovereignty over the West Bank in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, on the Gaza Strip or the Himmah Area.” Indeed, the Arab inhabitants of Judea and Samaria, including the portion of Jerusalem occupied by Jordan between 1948 and 1967, opted to accept Jordan’s putative annexation of these areas in 1950 and voted for their representatives in the Jordanian legislature in Amman.
Thus, instead of seeking to have an independent state in these areas Jordan conquered and occupied, they ceded any rights they may have had to Jordan. The Arab (not Jewish) residents of these areas were granted Jordanian citizenship (including voting rights) in December of 1949. Indeed, Jews were forcibly expelled from the areas conquered by Jordan and their homes were seized and synagogues demolished.
The Arab residents of the so-called West Bank participated in the Jordanian Parliamentary elections of April 1950 and were equally represented in the Jordanian Parliament. On April 24, 1950, the newly elected Parliament, noting it represented both the eastern bank of the Jordan as well as the western one (i.e., the so-called West Bank), formally approved annexation of the areas of Judea and Samaria conquered by Jordan, including the eastern part of Jerusalem. It unified them into the single state of Jordan, as confirmed by the King of Jordan.
The Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) recognized Jordan’s sovereignty over the so-called West Bank. It expressly provided in Article 24 of its original Charter of 1964 that it exercised no sovereignty over the West Bank that belonged to Jordan. Interestingly, it also expressly declared it exercised no sovereignty over Gaza. Its professed twin goals were Arab unity and the destruction of Israel.
Therefore, whatever rights the Arab residents of Judea and Samaria, including the eastern part of Jerusalem, may have had to assert any claim to sovereignty over these areas were fully vested in Jordan. Even the PLO acknowledged they were ceded to Jordan.
Like any other sovereign state, Jordan could negotiate and barter away sovereignty over any of its land. Thus, when it entered into a Treaty of Peace, dated October 26, 1994, with the State of Israel and, in Article 3, demarcated the international boundary between Israel and Jordan as the Jordan River, it effectively ceded sovereignty over its former West Bank to Israel. In this regard, the provisions of Article 2, Section 1, requiring that, in particular, each party recognize and respect each other’s sovereign territorial integrity and political independence, are cogent. Jordan recognized Israel’s sovereignty over the land within its borders as demarcated by the Treaty. Section 2 of Article 3 of the Treaty declares the boundary noted above is the permanent secure, and recognized international border between Israel and Jordan. There is no explicit carveout for any claim of sovereignty by so-called Palestinians to the West Bank. The Treaty, in Section 3 of Article 3, goes on to say the parties recognize the international boundary, as well as each other’s territory, territorial waters, and airspace, as inviolable and will respect and comply with them. Furthermore, Section 6 of Article 3 provides each party is to deploy on its side of the international boundary upon exchange of the instruments of ratification of the Treaty, which occurred during King Hussein’s first official visit to Israel on November 1, 1994 (after approval by Israel Knesset and ratification by Jordan’s Chamber of Deputies). These sovereign rights are not made subject to or otherwise expressly qualified by any claims of so-called Palestinians.

Listening to a sermon this weekend, I learned that the Jewish Talmud (Sanhedrin 41a) records that 40 years before the destruction of the Jewish Temple in 70 AD, the Sanhedrin officially lost the legal authority to carry out capital punishment.

Forty years before 70 AD is 30 AD… most likely the year Jesus died. This wasn't a coincidence, it was divine providence setting the stage for the cross.

If Jesus had been arrested just a year earlier, the Jewish leaders would have executed Him the way they wanted to... by stoning, because stoning was their method of capital punishment. But stoning wouldn't have fulfilled all the OT Scriptures prophesying His crucifixion, and it would’ve made Jesus a liar because He foretold His own crucifixion, too.

God used the shifting political landscape of the Roman Empire and the Jewish courts to ensure that when the time came, the Jewish leaders were legally powerless to kill Jesus their way. They had to hand Him over to the Romans. They had to use the cross.

When Pilate told them to judge Jesus themselves, they had to admit the frustrating truth that it was not lawful for them to put anyone to death (John 18:31). And John records the reason for this in the next verse: "This was to fulfill the word that Jesus had spoken to show by what kind of death he was to die."

The Jews thought they were just using Roman law to get rid of a troublemaker... they didn't realize they were unwittingly fulfilling the exact specifications of God's redemptive plan.

Not a single detail was left to chance. God was orchestrating the salvation of the world, down to the very method of execution. For my sin, and for yours.

It honestly blows my mind when we get to see these little glimpses of how perfectly God's sovereignty works (seemingly) behind the scenes of human history.

I am fighting the U.S. Govenrment’s right to direct and pressure science and academe to falsify the scientific and academic record. I have an amazing record on this. But I am forced to call attention to it. This allows a largely inauthentic bot network to rise up against me as if I am Satan or a Buffon. They can’t figure out which story to pursue. Witness:

I wasn’t supposed to observe that Biden wasn’t president during “his presidency”. Geriatric neurologists were supposed to do that. But they were silent.

I wasn’t supposed to observe that something is trying to hold back mathematics and physics before the Fields medalist letter and the @pmarca @bhorowitz revelations. Physicists and mathematician Professors were supposed to do that. But they were silent.

I’m not supposed to have point out a Lagrangian/Action or equations at the top of my feed when @seanmcarroll lied that I have “none of that”. My colleagues are supposed to do that. But they are mostly silent.

I wasn’t supposed to have co-authored the first article on Mortgage Backed Securities danger in 2001 while everyone was celebrating Greenspan and the Great Moderation. Economists and finance professors were supposed to do that. But they were silent.

I wasnt supposed to call out Dale Jorgenson as chair of @HarvardEcon for trying to steal $ 1trillion at the direction of Senators Packwood and Moynihan while the Boskin Commision was sheepskin washing the crime. My colleagues in that department owed me that. But they were silent.

I wasnt supposed to trace the H1B visa to a secret 1986 @NSF PRA program involving Myles Boylan, Peter House and Erich Bloch to destroy American Scientists bargaining position. The law was supposed to find this. It did not.

I wasn’t supposed to have to point out that the 77 Nobel Laureates backing Daszak and the EcoHealth NGO cutout was cover for Bio Weapons research gone horribly wrong. That was the responsibility of biologists, virologists, epidemiologists and Ralph Baric. But they fell silent,

I’m not supposed to point out that Peer Review in science really dates to 1975 and not Nov 1662, because Merton appears to have falsified the history…presumably to allow for journals to control the flow of science. Historians of science are supposed to be screaming this. But they refuse.

And I’m not supposed to point out that Geometric Unity is our leading candidate for a “Theory of Everything.” And has been since I brought it to Harvard over 40 years ago. Because @seanmcarroll is willing to lie about it and the community is silent.
