Killed 1.5 million of his own people in an unwinnable sell out proxy War, stole Billions, Banned elections, jailed the opposition, banned the church, the people's language and sold the country.
This is what an EU "Hero" looks like.
🇬🇧 Between March 2013 and March 2025, the annual number of rape offences recorded in England and Wales has risen by 438%.
Migrants arriving by boat were first recorded in 2014.
@SecScottBessent Hypocrite, while the US imports $755M in Russian uranium and plutonium this year despite sanctions, you bash India for buying oil that's stabilizing global prices and saving consumers billions!
@SecScottBessent How can you be so foolish? Why shouldn’t India profit from resources coming from Russia? Is the U.S. the only divinely appointed country with the right to profit from everything on Earth? What legitimacy do you have to prevent India from benefiting from Russian oil?
Why?
A) you are the ones who pushed for that war, no matter what you say, US is at fault here!
B) other countries are not vegetables, they do what’s best for them.
C) can you guys accomplish anything without blaming the next person?
D) your stupid tariffs will push even more countries to do what they gotta do to make money.
Quit bitching, and pick up any book on economics and fcking read it!
What Scott Bessent is doing is telling a half-truth—and a half-truth is a lie.
1. He says India massively increased Russian oil imports, which is true. But what he conveniently forgets to mention is that the U.S. itself encouraged India to do so in order to keep global oil prices low and reduce Russia’s profit margins. Former U.S. Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti even stated this on record.
2. He implies that India ramped up Russian oil imports mainly to resell them on international markets, which is absolutely false. The data shows that India’s total crude imports and refined product exports remain roughly the same as before the Russia–Ukraine war. The destinations of those exports haven’t changed either. The only shift is in the source: India substituted Middle Eastern oil with Russian oil, while Europe replaced Russian oil with Middle Eastern supplies.
3. The data is clear: India is meeting its domestic demand at competitive prices by buying cheaper oil from Russia. It is NOT ‘profiteering’ by reselling to other countries, as Bessent suggests.

@RealScottRitter@SecScottBessent wish I had said this!..i was planning to say, why did they start this stupid war--provoked russia, as I believe--and besides most of India's oil money going into hands of 2 individuals
@SecScottBessent But still not as bad as blowing up a pipeline to deny Europe cheap Russian gas, then turning around and selling Europe US gas at significant markups.
Talk about opportunistic arbitrage!
Hypocrisy personified.
