one thing that john green has put into my head more than anything else is to imagine other people complexly, and I appreciate that so much. like it's really made me a better person to have that little voice in my head tell me to take a step back before I judge someone unfairly.

not to mention that there'd be more patient/parent education coming out on why we give so many vaccines to infants and toddlers. we give those because that's the age kids typically died from those diseases before we could prevent them!
he wants more babies born in the u.s., but clearly doesn't want them to grow into well adjusted adults. if he did, he'd be advocating for longer parental leave, more affordable child care, free pre-k on a federal level, and enacting gun laws to protect kids at school.
