@MTGSecretLair Hey @Wizards can you stop using crap last mile carriers like GOFO? When you're selling a limited product we aren't going to get replacements when they're lost in transit. If you're selling a premium limited product use a premium carrier to deliver it. @wizards_magic @GavinVerhey

@The_Floppy_Taco @MTGSecretLair Literally happening to me right now. My Dan Hipp Marvel lair is basically lost. Tracking hasn't updated in 7 days & GOFO sent a canned reply. Put in a replacement ticket to @Wizards but don't expect to get one, maybe just a refund. Now I am -dreading- my MOTU lair getting lost.

Updates on today’s toy work. Latest #resin print of the shoulder pauldron fits just right. Making a #siliconemold for another part of his outfit, the tunic loincloth.
Custom Simon Belmont action figure inspired by the classic #Castlevania game on the original Nintendo #NES

Color test casts for one of two new NeoBrutes figures. No paint yet, each part individually tinted. Creating a physical DIY product is a huge undertaking for one person. It’s taken me almost 10 years of work, trials, failures, learning, and self motivation to get here. 🙏🏽💪🏽

[Aaron / Neostalgia Toys @NeostalgiaToys]

@BenMakesStuff I’m guessing we are never going to see a reprint of your original synthwave land set? I got the mountains and plains and need the swamps to complete the basics in a Marco deck. The SL ones don’t match well enough. 🙏🏽

[Aaron / Neostalgia Toys @NeostalgiaToys]

@sheepycutie It’s observation bias. The amount of times I’ve mulled away a Sol Ring cuz the rest of the hand was trash is higher than number of times I’ve kept an opener w Sol Ring.

[Aaron / Neostalgia Toys @NeostalgiaToys]

@marshall5912 @CmdrMechanic Can we also get rid of this thought of “play sets”? That only implies to 4x max copies constructed formats. I still hear strictly EDH players still talking about “getting a play set”?? Like you only need 1x, or if you -must- have “real” copies, X copies for X decks.

[Aaron / Neostalgia Toys @NeostalgiaToys]

@PlagueDoc4 @sheepycutie Agreed. I don’t watch any YT MTG content, especially not Command Zone. But I have noticed in conversations how their opinions are quickly rising to EDHREC level of influence (another “resource” I don’t like nor use). They’re both warping the game toward their skewed opinions.

[Aaron / Neostalgia Toys @NeostalgiaToys]

@Revelens_Light @CCOPodcast @sheepycutie @JasonEAlt 100% hard agree with all your points

[Jordyn Hodges 🫶🏽 @jordyvotes]

I really wish people would stop drastically using the scenarios of rape or incest as the sole premise for an abortion. A woman doesn’t have to be in a traumatic situation for it to be reason enough. In fact there is zero explanation that needs to be given.

[Aaron / Neostalgia Toys @NeostalgiaToys]

@BenMakesStuff @DotWavvv I’ve had hard drives fail many times in the past. Magnetic drives, as long as they’ll spin, you can often retrieve data; SSDs not so much.
Been an advocate of Dropbox / cloud storage for nearly a decade. Sync the most important data off site, you won’t regret it.

[Aaron / Neostalgia Toys @NeostalgiaToys]

@Jake_FitzSimons Archivist wins no contest. I see way more ramps spells and tutoring happening. Sentinel often only is really good either turn 2-3 (casual rarely does much on turn 1) or when you work to get its power up to 3+.

[Aaron / Neostalgia Toys @NeostalgiaToys]

@Geekguythirty3 @toglerog Right? Like, “I combo’ed with Dockside! Look how clever I am!” 😴

[Aaron / Neostalgia Toys @NeostalgiaToys]

@golgariguy @mrfitzyfitz 100% agree. Bought his Lair just cuz 🤘🏽
Now to get them all signed next chance I get.

[Aaron / Neostalgia Toys @NeostalgiaToys]

@theRickyThomas Mainly, trying to start an indie toy company (view my feed for samples). Beyond that, video games when I have time, getting back into drawing, learning to paint, biking when I can. And pinball, I love pinball!

[Aaron / Neostalgia Toys @NeostalgiaToys]

@128_Commodore @Chain_Commander Agreed. Could’ve literally used Bolt Bend’s text and changed “creature power 4+” to “your commander”. Make players hold up mana, it teaches how to play reactively, instead of GRRRR GRUUL GO SMASH TAP ALL MY MANA PLAY BIG BOI! 💥
You wanna respond to something?
Hold up mana.

[Aaron / Neostalgia Toys @NeostalgiaToys]

@Chain_Commander It’s fine. Not worth $30 or whatever it’s at now. No one is playing Bolt Bend, so why pay so much for a slightly better card? For spell interaction (protecting stuff), Chef’s Kiss is probs way better even tho you have to pay; leaving up mana is part of playing responsive magic.

[Aaron / Neostalgia Toys @NeostalgiaToys]

@Jtbombers1 @WilliamTurton @AOC isn’t Batman. When’s the last time Mitch McConnell intervened to stop street level gun violence? Never? Find a more relevant situation next time.

[Cal is @MTGCal]

Another interesting note, it looks like the mod team is planning on putting together a weekly thread for showing off proxy artist's work!

[Aaron / Neostalgia Toys @NeostalgiaToys]

@realQueerStu @DgtlButterfly_ @Jake_FitzSimons @wizards_magic Nope, allied colors only:
Flood Plain ⚪️🔵, Bad River 🔵⚫️,
Rocky Tar Pit ⚫️🔴, Mountain Valley 🔴🟢,
and Grasslands ⚪️🟢!
They’re great and don’t get any respect!
That cycle NEEDS to be completed!
