Meanwhile you have an orange buffoon in the USA who convinced a bunch of stupid people that solar doesn't work and windmills cause cancer...
You can't have nice things because you're stupid.
Russian propaganda is real.
Nazism is literally illegal in Ukraine. I didn’t know this till I came here.
Technically, Ukriane has stronger anti-Semitism laws than the US. I met several rabbis in Ukraine who fled Russia because the state had the KGB investigate them for being Jewish.
Zelenskyy is also Jewish and told me on camera during our interview Nazism is illegal in Ukraine.
Meanwhile, Russia Today amplifies the podcasts of every Holocaust denier in America.
When Russia is hit with more sanctions, RT should be banned.
@elonmusk X is an American company. If Russia is sanctioned, their X account should not be allowed to show up in the US.
Reminder that the people trying to get you to fight over one of the most popular and artistically accomplished films of the year/decade are doing it because it is their business model (as well as this app's business model.)
DSA folks: Democrats are are the enemy
Some Dems: DSA folks view us as the enemy and are therefore not our allies -- they could help wreck the party
DSA folks: Holy shit how could you say that??? Unbelievable slanderlibel
I am deeply appalled and angry to see “Firework” used on the @WhiteHouse TikTok account as a backing track for video footage of military strikes. I did not approve this, I was not asked, and I absolutely do not condone it.
I wrote this song to be an anthem of hope, healing, and inner strength for people going through their darkest personal moments. To see a message of self-worth and upliftment weaponized to soundtrack destruction and violence is a complete violation of everything my song stands for.
My music is for bringing people together, not celebrating warfare.
We can now confirm that the substance found in Lorenzo Salgado’s van was not a narcotic or any other illicit substance. As his family has said all along, this was an electrolyte powder to stay hydrated working outside in the hot Texas summer.
The attempt to cast a shadow over Lorenzo Salgado’s name has failed.
🧵What issues should Democrats moderate on to win swing voters? This article examined varying positions on 29 issues. Moderation generally didn't produce large effects on hypothetical vote intention. But here's a thread of the 9 that had the biggest, in ascending order of impact.
Two things can be true...
1) Laura Loomer remains insane.
2) Her realizing that MAGA has been severely propagandized by Russia and now siding with Ukraine is a GOOD thing.
No, hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin don’t work against COVID in humans. Yes, they can inhibit viral replication in *cell culture*, but only at very high concentrations that are not safely achievable in the bloodstream.
CAUGHT ON TAPE: David Brouillette, the ICE officer who fatally shot Joan Guerrero four times, threatened to slit his ex-wife’s throat.
WHY ARE THEY HIRING THESES GUYS?
People operate on different definitions of these words (liberal, socialism, capitalism). This tweet itself demonstrates a definitional conflict. Per one metric, "very liberal" would inherently conflict w/ "[favoring] socialism." But in this tweet, "socialism" is treated as a liberal sub-belief.
What most "progressive" Normie Dems like is Nordic Style social democracy. Well-regulated capitalism and an expansive welfare state. That's what they call "socialism." They view Canada as a socialist country, or at least partially so.
This same set of Normie Dems associates "capitalism" with unregulated, exploitative capitalism & the atrocious state of income inequality in this country.
DSAers want actual socialism. Though they also love participating in the market economy, they just either don't realize that's what they're doing or they lie about it.
These definitional differences are very frustrating. Normie Dems have been seeking to clarify these lexical distinctions for years, to little avail, so I'm not sure what to do about it.
It all gets worse when one considers that moderates and conservatives are operating on more traditional notions of "socialism."
Either way, when you look at data like these, a large % of those opting for socialism over capitalism are choosing "Nordic Social Democracy" over "Unregulated Capitalism/Weak Safety Net."
