In previous generations, you were supposed to move the needle. Dad worked with his hands so you could work with your brain. Dad moved to a new world so you could succeed in it.

That doesn’t happen anymore. Dad is a partner at a law firm so you can be a crypto trader? An influencer? That’s not progress, it’s atrophy.

That affects you on a psychological level. There are rare exceptions of men born into privilege finding drive but most guys today are forever sons.
