Kinda like the president whose endorsement you are begging for was not only indicted, but ALSO convicted by a jury of his peers for 34 Felony Counts?

Senator, I know how this works. The big difference here is that this DOJ seems to OVERREACH and VIOLATE people’s basic rights ALL THE TIME, which is why they have had some of the flimsiest indictments in the history of our county.

They Indicted Tish James - case dismissed.

They indicted James Comey - case dismissed.

They tried to indict a man for throwing a ham sandwich at an ICE officer… and when they couldn’t get that indictment, they tried him for a misdemeanor and he was acquitted.

This DOJ isn’t quite known for their legal acumen. I expect more of you as a former TX Supreme Court Justice, but I guess the desperation of seeking an endorsement will allow you to forget your legal training & ignore to whom you swore an oath.
