Things I've heard ob/gyn say to clients: (during a vaginal exam aka v.e.) "Let me stretch your cervix a little and see if I can help you a bit.."
Anyone knows why this is dangerous?
@Beens_hellobaby Agreed! This is why Beens is the best.. always educating mothers to be..
Please know that this is supposed to happen naturally! No health professional should try to stretch your cervix for you!
Sadly.. not all obgyns have your best interest at heart.. Should I reveal things I've come across here boy?! Or do I stay quiet and hush my mout like everyone else does..
We are in 2021, a year of many advance movements and modern thinking and mindsets..yet obstetric violence runs rampant in my country.. #fixitJesus#changetheheartsofobgyns
@CrissiPop@CaribbeanSpyce@jenlyn_lucas @Mickileequi @MidwifePati Hats off to @CaribbeanSpyce and your colleagues for this initiative! I think family planning and services offered in family planning clinics will be an excellent follow up from tonight's session. How to avoid pregnancy until you're ready is definitely a convo that needs to be had
@CaribbeanSpyce @Mickileequi @jenlyn_lucas@CrissiPop@MidwifePati This was amazing! Excellent midwife, OB/Gyn and dentist! You can also find me on IG @ hello_baby_tt, @ beeladivine and Pati @ birthworkstt
