@Oldpanther1 @Clarent_Queen @LeoCTweets Here's my hot take:
You aren't a true star wars fan unless........
You have enjoyed something in the star wars universe.
From the shadows emerges the thief that started it all! Return as Garrett with enhancements to graphic textures, models, animations, and quality of life improvements, this is one you won’t want to miss.
Listen, @AmazonMGMStudio,
If you reboot #Stargate, you will loose 99.9999999% of your potential audience. A reboot WILL NOT WORK!
Only a continuation will work. And by a continuation, I mean one led by someone who knows and loves Stargate, like Martin Gero.
We don't need a Kathleen Kennedy or Alex Kurtzman working on Stargate. They will ruin it.
#SaveStargate
@Choppedworld Honestly, I don't know Wanda, and I'm betting I don't want to either, but you are correct on Cosmo and Plinkett.
Before seeing this, I'd managed to forget about Cosmo, but one thing that sticks with me is him saying "I'm star wars' biggest shill" right before parroting Plinkett.
LORE DUMP:
In the Singularity universe, aliens think humans are weird. Very weird.
The aliens have no use for perfume, lotions, or body oils. Attraction is usually done with verbal or visual cues. And sometimes, it’s pheromones. (One species in particular has to take drastic measures when their body betrays them.)
They don’t chemically alter their food. While they may turn them into a paste for MREs or a powder, their food is pretty much consumed in its natural state.
Their physiology functions near perfect. There are performance enhancers and medical remedies, of course, but they see no need to fundamentally alter their physical body unless they need to. (E.g, amputation, organ transplant)
Calling TLJ “not real Star Wars” because it dared to challenge heroes and explore failure isn’t just gatekeeping, it’s missing the point George Lucas made for decades.
Movies for kids can still be for adults too.
My guess is if you hate The Last Jedi, you would have hated The Empire Strikes Back too (if social media had been around to tell you how you were supposed to react to it).
