@DietWaterGUY Wait a second I thought the CEO of Bricks and Minifigs said they were cool with Mansell and wanted him to come to the table lmao. Fucking liars
Previous owners of Lego Bricks & Minifigs give insight to take over, showing corporates scum behavior "it sounds like a threat... in a way it is" great insights to what mom and pops in America have faced time and time again, eroding away our nation #brickbybrick
@activistJ741 Sorry but the entire Bricks and Minifigs needs to close down. Yeah it sucks for all the franchises but that's the penalty for being evil.
The Fundamental reason why Amazon cancelled The New Stargate show is because the people running it are still not out of the corporate strategy of focus groups, and the Flawed logic of the Broad Audience, as they continue to attempt to appeal to the lowest common...(1/6)
...appeal to a broad audience it's no surprise why that industry is in trouble as well, until the rules of the industry change for the better you're going to continue to see major franchises and lesser ones that flop or get cancelled because they are trying to...(5/6)
Hi @AmazonMGMStudio,
Many of us now work in filmmaking because of shows like Stargate SG-1.
It inspired us with its rich lore, believable character interactions, human drama, and its grounded military science fiction setting.
It showed the progress of humanity from its first baby steps through an unknown portal into a space-faring species.
The show was hopeful, human, and naturally diverse.
It showed the world and mankind coming together despite our differences to create something better.
Indeed, that is what the core of Stargate is and always has been.
We are from around the world.
We are men, women, fathers, mothers, grandparents, grandchilren, and proud of the values Stargate has always stood for. It's rare for a franchise that appeals to people across a political divide, but Stargate always has. It has always stood for the message that we are stronger together. These are the fans.
Martin Gero, Joe Mallozzi, Brad Wright, and everyone else involved have had decades to understand this. There is no better team to trust than the ones who've been there with us the longest. It's a symbiotic relationship.
I, and every Stargate fan, urge you to reconsider during this Window of Opportunity. The writing team was in the middle of their backswing during the cancellation announcement. At least let them finish a season.
We are worth taking a chance on!
I'm Emerald May, and I work in visual effects in Atlanta and I'm proud of shows like Stargate SG-1, Atlantis, and Universe that helped steer my career into a place where we make worlds come true.
Thank you.
Sadly, it's true. Amazon has elected not to move forward with the new Stargate series.
There's not much I can add beyond confirming what's happened. But I will say this...
Creator Martin Gero developed a new Stargate series over two years, ultimately crafting a show that offered a fresh jumping-on point for new viewers while deeply respecting existing canon. It was a series that avoided the pitfalls of several modern remakes and reboots by fully embracing the core of its predecessors: action, adventure, exploration, wonder, heart, humor, and found family. And based on that creative vision, the new Stargate series was greenlit in November of 2025.
As of today, officially, that original vision is no more. We'll never get the opportunity to introduce you to that world and those characters - or reintroduce you to, and check in with, some familiar faces from the past.
My heart breaks. For the incredibly talented writers who worked tirelessly to bring this show to life. For Martin who maintained an unwavering positive outlook throughout despite the challenges, and who always strove to make a show that would honor the fans while welcoming a new audiences. And for the long-suffering Stargate fandom who waited so long and came so close to getting a show they truly would have loved.
EXCLUSIVE: The new "Stargate" TV series has been axed at Amazon.
The show was first announced with a series order in November 2025 and hailed from showrunner Martin Gero, who was a writer on "Stargate SG-1" and "Stargate: Atlantis." Sources say Amazon execs were concerned that Gero's take on the series would not have broad appeal beyond the franchise's already dedicated fanbase.

As per deadline. This is so disrespectful to the fanbase. You cannot start a new show and alienate a fanbase in that process.
Have we not learnt from the last few years?
Why wouldn’t you want someone who has a history with the show??
