Medicaid expansion is popular. Rick knows this. It’s also why 19 Republican Governors chose full Medicaid expansion.

In an effort to be appear moderate and sensible he is intentionally calling his concepts of a plan “intelligent Medicaid expansion” to trick voters. Earlier today, AI researcher Jacob Coxon, who spent the past three years working at OpenAI and Anthropic, publicly resigned from Anthropic, warning that both companies are racing toward superintelligence and “gambling with our lives.”

Then Evan Hubinger, Anthropic’s current Head of Alignment Stress-Testing, agreed with him, saying people inside the company genuinely believe AI could kill all humans.

Hubinger said he personally puts the chance of AI wiping out humanity within the next decade at greater than 10% and said Anthropic still does not have a plan to solve the problem.

This is a great time to remind all the folks on here who are University System of Georgia graduates, especially those who attended HBCUs, that the next governor is likely going to have the pick over who succeeds Sonny Perdue as chancellor of the University System of Georgia.

If we elect Keisha Lance Bottoms, we can change the tide of how this board is run and reverse this anti-DEI BS, the blatant attack on professors, and get our pubic HBCUs the funding they need.

This is what's at stake, and this is one of the biggest issues I want to bring to light as the founder of HBCU Pulse and a proud graduate of Fort Valley State University and the University System of Georgia.

Let's do all we can to make sure we get the right outcome here. I know education policy ain't sexy, but HBCU alumni don't really have a choice but to care about stuff like this.
