@DavidPiperVO@gloster2015@ericahilliard Where are you getting your supposed data for what the turnout for Black voters will be in November? How did that data calculate in how undoubted targeted vote suppression efforts in Black communities will affect turnout?
@RubinsBlockList@JeffEKahn Were you spiraling out when you, as a Black man, knowingly stood behind a war profiteering, misogynistic Nazi “populist”? You didn’t care if Janet Mills campaigned for your Nazi. But, you’re spiraling out now about pressing a Black woman to do joint campaign stops?
@DavidPiperVO@gloster2015@ericahilliard Do you think that James Talarico will get a higher turnout among Black voters—churchgoers or otherwise—than Beto O’Rourke or Colin Allred got, and what leads you to that assumption?
@gloster2015@averageninja2@ericahilliard Talarico and Crockett explained how the work she is doing improves Talarico’s chances of winning. Explain how your choice to ignore Talarico’s directive helps Talarico’s campaign and chances of winning? Or, at least just admit that you don’t care if he wins.
@gloster2015@averageninja2@ericahilliard TALARICO leveled the critique and directive at YOU, a fake “supporter.” He expressed support for the down ballot work that Crockett is doing. YOU are an opp.
@gloster2015@averageninja2@ericahilliard You have revealed yourself to be a fake Talarico “supporter” who cares less about whether or not Talarico actually wins and Democrats take back the Senate than you care about humbling a Black politician (and Black voters).
@RubinsBlockList@JeffEKahn By the way, as a Black man who supported Platner MONTHS after revelations of his Nazi tattoo, Blackwater mercenary stints, bigoted Reddit posts, first abuse allegations…did you demand that Janet Mills campaign for Platner, or do you mainly voice that demand towards Black women?
@gloster2015@averageninja2@ericahilliard No, we don’t agree. I didn’t even imply that Crockett is harming his chances. TALARICO even said that Crockett’s efforts to support down ballot candidates helps his campaign. He said that the type of shit you’re doing hurts his campaign and asked you to stop. You just don’t care.
@gloster2015@averageninja2@ericahilliard So, you admit that you are committed to option 2, ignoring the candidate you feigned support for and actively working to harm his chances of winning. You are guilty of everything you accuse Crockett of doing.
@gloster2015@averageninja2@ericahilliard Seems to me that you have 2 options. You can:
1. follow Talarico’s directive to keep Crockett’s name out of your mouth,
or
2. ignore Talarico and continue to agitate the very voter base who Talarico will need to turnout in HUGE numbers to give him any hope of winning.
@RubinsBlockList@JeffEKahn If you consider voicing Black voters’ expectation that we should not be afterthoughts and taken for granted in a Party WE make possible to be undermining our struggle, then, I don’t know what to tell you. But, you are evidence that we are not a monolith. #NotAllSkinfolkAreKinfolk
@gloster2015@averageninja2@ericahilliard You asserted nearly 88 percent of Black Texan voters will happily vote for Talarico. I am guessing you got that percentage from past voting trends and/or recent polling. Pray tell, what percentages of White and Latino Texan voters do you think will vote for Talarico?
@neoliberal_hack People of good will who belong to demographics who vote in majorities for fascists should focus their attention on getting fewer of their peers and family members to uphold fascism. But, you think that focusing your critiques on Black women is somehow anti-fascist? Heal thyself.
@gloster2015@averageninja2@ericahilliard If anywhere near 70+ percent of Black Texans who vote vote for Talarico and more than 50 percent of Latino and/or White Texans who vote vote for Paxton (as they voted for Cruz and Cornyn), how will Talarico’s lose be at all on Black voters?
