My blog teaches you network engineering with jokes & fun! Instructor/course writer for Juniper. JNCIE-SP, meme fanatic, CEO of the internet, your new goth uncle
Like a lot of folks, I'm moving over to Mastodon (unless something very major changes on this site). I'm on the https://t.co/SB92sQvvz6 server, which looks good for network engineers.

@ecbanks Yeah I reckon, if only because there's a bigger and more active user base now, so you'll get a more accurate idea of whether it works for you. Like Twitter, it's only as good as the accounts you're following. I've not seen many RSS reposts, but I have seen many blog-sized posts.
New blog post about Junos and BGP! Posted the link on my Mastodon. Click for cool learnings: https://t.co/RFSWPJY7gd
Though, I don't think Mastodon is a great replacement, Much bigger character limit = many long posts that I just scroll past. Mixed feelings about the move.
@TracketPacer Aah thank you! I wrote it all by myself (well, my mum helped me with the first bit, and with the drawings, and the middle bit, and also the end bit, but I did all the rest)
BTW it was super easy to sign up. No idea what the fuss was about with it being difficult. You go to their site, you choose a server, you sign up, you wait a bit, and then that's it.
If, like me, you were put off based purely on the stories of faff and difficulty: it's a breeze.
@NetworkFunTimes But if you phoned him up on the technical support line about an outstanding item and he started to sing "I Don't Care Anymore", it would all be worth it.
