🔨Garages next to Avon Road railway bridge in Pill have been demolished.

🌉This helps create space for a new railway bridge, carrying two tracks, to be built next spring.

🌉We're creating space for a new railway bridge that can carry two lines

🛤️All the old track between Portishead and Pill has now been removed, ready for new track to be laid next year

🎉 Double celebrations as the new @BristolUni Enterprise Campus opened alongside.

🎓 It opens onto the new @BristolUni Enterprise Campus linking the station to east Bristol

These images from today's lineside fire, which caused significant disruption to services in and out of London Paddington, show what our engineers, and firefighters from @LondonFire, had to deal with.

Disruption is likely to continue into Sunday so please check before travelling.

A lineside fire near Old Oak Common has been extinguished, but disruption between London Paddington-Reading will continue for the rest of the day.

We're sorry for the significant delays and disruption this has caused customers.

The fire brigade is dealing with a fire which has caused a loss of power to overhead power cables between London Paddington-West Ealing.

This has blocked all lines between Paddington-Reading and disruption is expected until the end of the day.
