I'd take a smart and accomplished person with genuine humility, compassion and interest in people any day. Is the real problem that the public value the wrong things in leaders? How to change that?

I guess he'd have to learn to acknowledge mistakes, reflect on lessons learned and acquire some empathy with poor folk first.
