This. Attacking the result rather than addressing the root of the problem gets people nowhere. Very few children are 'bad', they just have things going on that need support. Look at the difference Freddie Flintoff and positive reinforcement made with those young guys in Preston.
"You can't physically chuck a 13-year-old over a school gate and say: ‘Go on, get in.’"
Actor Anna Maxwell Martin, who's navigated the SEND system as a parent, tells #R4Today that attitude is just as important as funding to help support children with special educational needs.

Salt Path. Raynor Winn’s statement says “He’s got CBD and here are the doctors’ letters to prove it”. Some of which say “He hasn’t got CBD.” Did she just hope no-one would read them?
@PippaN15@RealJakeBroe ...and Trooping the Colour had nothing on the parade for the King's Coronation. All active service men and women. To me not marching in step for a national parade suggests a lack pride - surely you want to show off your best side? Not saunter along willy-nilly, world watching.

Vitamin D isn't just a vitamin—it's a steroid hormone that regulates over 5% of your entire genome
Yet over 70% of Americans don't have adequate vitamin D levels, severely limiting their immune function, mood regulation, and cognitive health
Clinical evidence points to blood levels of 40-60 ng/mL being the sweet spot
Supplementing with 4,000 IU daily typically moves people from deficiency to sufficient levels (in general, 1,000 IU raises blood levels by roughly 5–10 ng/mL)

In a two-year randomized controlled trial involving 573 older adults, daily multivitamin use slowed cognitive aging by two years. Improvements in episodic memory performance were even more striking, equivalent to ~five years of preserved memory function.
A larger meta-analysis of over 5,000 individuals across three trials confirmed these effects, showing consistent gains in global cognition and memory compared to placebo.
These findings are especially relevant given that most Americans have insufficient intake of multiple essential micronutrients. The multivitamin used in the study was not exotic - it contained 20 essential vitamins and minerals, along with the carotenoids lutein and lycopene, which are known to accumulate in the brain and retina and influence cognitive and visual function.

Good lord...we are still talking about the dangers of concussions?? It's NOT concussions that are the problem, it's the long term exposure to Repetitive Head Impacts thst is causing the damage. Lowering exposure is the ONLY way to lower risk. WAKE UP

They programmed the world’s first computer—with no manuals, no training.
Then, a SINGLE assumption erased them from tech history for decades.
