Last night it happened again. Not because I went looking for it… because it called me.

I’m deep asleep, fully lucid inside the dream, when an old-school telephone starts ringing. Clear as day. I pick it up, put the receiver to my ear, and the second I do — something grabs me and yanks. Hard. Like a hook behind my navel pulling me straight up and out of my body.
