What do you hope to get from the project? The inter-disciplinarity exposure is a great opportunity. The project covers bio-chemistry, laser physics, optogentics, gene editing of viral vectors, imaging and neuroscience. 4/4

What aspect of the project is most exciting? Invasive technology is well known for treating neuro-degenerative disorders but non-invasive neuro-stimulation would be a great achievement. 3/4
What is your role in NEUROPA? I am focused upon NEUROPA-stimulation and imaging of phytochrome-activated networks in living animals. We aim to enable the modulation of specific genes in Huntington’s and Alzheimer’s. 2/4
