30M w/insidious ataxia and HAs. MRI (shown) with a large, enhancing cerebellar mass. Histology shown. DDX? Which immunostains would help resolve the DDX?
The DDX includes meningeal based neoplasms, such as meningioma, SFT, etc. Stains (shown) support a final diagnosis of Intracranial Mesenchymal Tumor - a tumor characterized by recurrent gene fusions, especially FET::CREB.
Don't forget to join us later today for this month's AANP Teaching Rounds! 🧠 🎉
