@toxiftv I’ll take an easy dragon fear over whatever addon hell has been happening in retail mythic raid the last few tiers. Midnight falls and dimensius were really NOT fun and felt like an absolute chore.
@Wheva I’m not in disagreement. But the time commitment to mythic raiding (and consistency week after week for months) is already a heavy lift. Throwing M+ as a necessity on top of it will (and has) removed a lot of players from raid. It’s become a show for RWF with massive nerds after.
@godless_sky@towelthetank This is very true. The people who consume a lot of Twitch end up being intensely influenced in their opinions by the people they like watching. It’s a self fulfilling prophecy.
@mizzysworld I’ve been an UDK main in retail for a long time, and the whole time I thought they should be a mid ranged class rather than melee. Hell, they’re SO close with the current talents. All you need is to make festering strike ranged
@Sylvariae Heard. What did you like about it? I think the bad taste of that expansion for a lot of us what 1) the lore kind of wrecked a lot of established story, 2) the grind with torghast was horrendous, 3) the Korthia patch was one of the worst things they’ve ever released.
@DrizzintahL@MercifulEmma Some people learned, and outgrew that phase of the internet. I’ve learned in the last week or so that many people apparently did not.
@Nobleshield These people never grew out of their 14 year old phase. A butt joke or racial slur name are still hilarious to them. Arrested development in a tragic way.
@kupferhut11@sweggles1 I’m glad. I think the difficulty and time commitments of the raids have just gone in a very different direction than what I enjoyed about raiding all these years. Those bosses started to feel like a job you just wanted to get through.
