From the other thread, a 122.3 ORTG and a 113.4 DRTG puts the Celtics' NRTG at 8.9 or a 61-win team. Last year's squad won 56 games against a 59-win projection. I expect them to at least clear last year's 56-win baseline, with my actual guess sitting at 58 wins with health.
@TA1297 My biggest point about them not breaking 50 wins this season was that. They may be a fine 1st possession offense but can't generate 2nds while allowing a ton on the other end of the floor. Plus, will probs be a high TO team.
We have sat our top like 8 guys in two games vs clear projected East playoff teams and DOMINATED both in the margins. Hell yea, I fucking love that shit.
I love Mazzulla Ball, this is my fucking shit baby.

Didn't think the Sixers defense would be any good this year but I didn't expect their first action defense to be this bad. If Embiid isn't 100% they won't be in the top 20 defenses in the league.
@undercleavage@CelticsTheis 2nd in drtg. The Blazers do have that one, but purely from playing the Lions. Still, the next non-Blazers team is an entire 11 points behind in ntrg.
I really like Moussa. If he ever becomes available I'd be super interested in the Celtics acquiring him. Not this year, obviously, but the next 2 seasons? Sure.
Boston Celtics guard Payton Pritchard has agreed to a two-year, $44.2 million contract extension, plus a mutual option in the 2029-30 season, CAA Co-Head of Basketball Austin Brown and agent Max Saidman tell ESPN.
