@Lipstay @BrianEntin she is protecting private property. Florida is a stand your ground state. Also, she is armed with pistols, she obviously has the training required to use them legally under any circumstance. she knows what she is doing!

Made it out to Pine Island, Florida. The barrier island has been totally cut off from the mainland.
The Coast Guard, Florida Fish and Wildlife, and a ton of volunteers are shuttling supplies and people back and forth. Crews are making progress rebuilding the roads.

The Florida Department of Transportation is doing incredible work rebuilding the road from the mainland to Pine Island. Been watching them all day and they’ll work all night. Residents on the island have little communication and were relieved when I told them about the progress.

Heard Stringfellow Rd is clear, Dollar General employees were jumped when they went to check on the store. Haven't heard anything about publix, winn dixie. #PIstrong
