Another October 5th.
A very memorable day to me not only because it’s my birthday, but because it marks the anniversary of the death of one of modern societies’ greatest men — Steve Jobs.
Coincidentally, we both have/had neuroendocrine cancer, and received organ transplants…🍻
@tim_cook Many do not know that Steve (RIP) died from *NEUROENDOCRINE* tumors (NETs) (ie. cancer; started in his pancreas)—and NOT from the often believed exocrine kind.
I have stage 4 NETs (sm. intestine prim. dx’d 2007); in 2019 my brother was dx’d w/ pNET like Steve’s.

@Ceaserelli@AJamesMcCarthy@astro_reid I think it looks a lot younger than the rest, as the crater’s edges and center aren’t as heavily re-cratered over with subsequent impacts (compared to the majority of the far side of the moon).
@jacob_amini@AJamesMcCarthy Those would be night time images.
Daytime storm images/video could include normally dry rivers and washes when they are running.
Downspouts (intense, smallish areas of heavy rain, combined with a high speed falling air mass) are always cool, but always *safety* must come first!
@jacob_amini@AJamesMcCarthy I second this!
Be sure to capture monsoon season storm images around Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah, with silhouettes of interesting rock formations 🏜, cacti 🌵, trees 🌳, city scapes 🌃, and astrophotography equipment.
Extra coolness to include observatories, large and small!
@RrolfRrolfRrolf@SamuelBeek Bah! If this is true, someone would have made a virus to kill off computers after spreading; and I’ve never heard of such a thing.
@SamuelBeek Hmmm… Lots of jumper wiring and component abnormalities, especially concerning the resistor that is hooked up to *nothing* is on fire.
Not to mention that while the board has signs of charring, the burning resistor itself still looks okay.
Lol, this isn't even a good fake! 😂
