@sjforman138's incredible photo of Nina’s rescue touched a lot of hearts. We thought you’d like to know that Nina and her family are safe and well. Last night, the MSPCA Community Outreach team delivered pet food and supplies to Nina and her family in their temporary quarters.

Many of the families and pets displaced by the 7-alarm fire in Dorchester yesterday are clients and friends to the MSPCA, including Nina and her mom Brittany.

#Breaking: Our @NevinsFarm is on BABY WATCH after eight #GuineaPigs were brought in, just one day after 15 (!) came to us from a local police department, where they had been surrendered by an owner who could no longer care for them--and a bunch of them are pregnant!

They made it! Mike Keiley with @NEAnimalShelter and @MspcaAngell shows off a couple dogs they rescued from overwhelmed shelters in Winter-ravaged Texas. They transported 91 dogs and cats to #Massachusetts They're all going to be up for adoption.

The Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (MSPCA) provides direct care to thousands of homeless, injured, and abused animals each year. We assisted by donating 1,200 bottles of sanitizer, 400 boxes of gloves and 2,400 boxes of sanitizing wipes! 🐶 ❤️
