I have no idea WOTC will continue to make interesting card designs even as the number of cards printed seems to increase every year.

But holy fuck they need to expand their creative department if "track team" is in the flavor text of a standard legal card.

I am saying that doing that instead of hiring creatives to build fleshed out worlds is a bad move if the goal is making MTG continuously engaging and compelling narratively. Infinite worlds, infinite possibilities. But I know that hasn't been the goal in decades. (2/2)
