I need to do better.
This reminds me that quick weekly meals can be healthy, hearty and tasty, not something over processed out of a box or bag.

What an absolute disaster of a parent.
My own father said nearly exactly this when I was picked up for a football game by my black friend. Only because it was a date. Threatened me, forbade me leave, and I looked at my mother, and left.
