@TS_Secrets Could be that the homeowner dealt with the insurance directly, and asked the roofer for a “cash” price. I see that all the time too.

As far as the roofer or GC handing back $5k, and eating the deductible. They would be actively committing insurance fraud, send him HB 2102.
