@greatresist007@imetatronink Let me see if I’ve got this right: the only reason we haven’t defeated them is that Trump is too sensitive to how America is seen abroad?
This is Ryan. Afghanistan. Three deployments. Night terrors every single night for eight years. Wakes up screaming between 2 and 4 AM. His VA counselor recommended a psychiatric service dog. $30,000 training cost. Insurance doesn't cover it. Ryan couldn't afford it. So last November he adopted Max from a rescue in Tucson. Four-year-old black Lab. "Washed out" of service dog training. Too anxious around crowds. First night home, Ryan had a nightmare at 3 AM. Max jumped on the bed without being asked.
Laid his entire 90-pound body across Ryan's chest. Ryan woke up. Didn't scream this time. Just held Max and cried quietly. Max stayed there until Ryan fell back asleep. Now Max does this automatically.
Every single night. Ryan's therapist reviewed the bedroom camera footage.
Told him: "That's deep pressure therapy. That's the exact protocol we train $30,000 service dogs to perform." Max failed service dog school for being too sensitive. But he's exactly what Ryan needed.
Sometimes the rejects are actually perfect.
@josephwang You know, I bought the first edition partly for the content but mostly for capital appreciation (based on a Twitter tip) so... thanks a lot.
The father of three year old Mila Zayyat carries her body for the last time in Teir Debba, southern Lebanon after she was killed in an I$raeli airstrike
@ctindale Not sure about moral preening, but how was this war ever going to help anyone? Regime change was always a pipe dream, no? If some hope for humiliation and defeat for Trump & Israel, maybe they’re hoping for change at home. Empire benefits DC & Wall St alone at this point.
@LukeGromen Hi Luke, thx for all you do. Do you still see a whoosh down? I assume so. What are the potential catalysts you’re watching, what timeframes are you looking at, and how might it be avoided?
@LukeGromen If Iran basically gets their 10 points, what are the short, medium, and long term effects for the dollar, gold, and anything else you can think of? Seems big time dollar and bond value negative. How about recession risk? What factors into that? Thanks for all you do.
On Easter Day, a Vatican-led humanitarian convoy carrying 40+ tonnes of aid to the Christian village of Debel in south Lebanon was cancelled for “security reasons”.
The town is now completely cut off since a father and son were killed in an Israeli attack as they were bringing back supplies on what they thought was the last safe road.
No one has been able to secure a humanitarian corridor to the besieged village - not even the Vatican.
@LukeGromen Luke, I’m nervous. What’s the most likely market path if the strait stays closed? March 2020 across the board sell-off (everything down but the $) followed by a sharp (sector specific) rally post Fed/treasury put? Which sectors? Why shouldn’t the little guy be 75% cash right now?
