@BBCNews So, FIFA is fixing a game for Argentina by giving the opponent 2-0 lead until the 79th min? That's really really a horrible way of fixing a match.😂 When Egypt was winning, everything was fine. The moment Argentina made a comeback,it's all rigged. Sore losers
@raman_anuradha But he behaved like a sore loser & a pathetic human being after the defeat. A man with dignity would have accepted a defeat with grace & humility, not behave like a lunatic.
@RifatJawaid Men with honor & dignity accept defeat with grace, instead of blaming anything & everything under the sun. It's hilarious to claim that Argentina is being favoured without any conclusive proof. Your personal pain doesn't mean something is rigged.
@RifatJawaid I understand your pain & agony. You are hurt because as a muslim, you wanted to see a muslim nation win. But football isn't won by religious belief, it's won on the field by playing for 90 mins. Egypt couldn't do that. It's that simple.
@demster70@twino_nick Tell me you don't know about football without telling me you don't know about football. & it's hilarious that all those who are shouting corruption & rigged, doesn't have basic understanding of football rules, regulations & VAR use. Lil knowledge is dangerous
@LoayAlkhteeb It's not like the referees & Infantino scored the goals for Argentina. Those who can't accept a defeat & accept that better team won, with grace, are just pathetic losers, men without dignity & self respect. Those people shout rigged & robbed.😂
@LoayAlkhteeb Haha. Losers trying to find every excuse apart from the fact that they couldn't hold onto a 2-0 lead, & bottled the game. Hardly whole world is sympathising with Egypt. Some people are, some people aren't. You went out because you couldn't hold onto the game
@Sadafsayeed If you can't win on the pitch, blame everyone else. 😂😂 Until 79th min, it wasn't rigged & everything was fair & fine & referees were all good. But after 79th min, suddenly everything became rigged & unfair & referee bias. It's pathetic mentality
@Sadafsayeed Against Cape Verde they were down & out?Lol😂 You must be watching something in parallel universe. Against Cape Verde, they took lead 2 times, & opponent equalized. Then they scored winning goal. With Egypt, they were behind & made a comeback
@borbiletinha@nytimes@TheAthleticFC Most probably who went nuts are the ones who wanted to see Argentina lose, for different reasons. But just because a team you wanted to lose made a comeback, you shouldn't really lose your brain & shout anything.
@borbiletinha@nytimes@TheAthleticFC Just, don't try to make that a fact, & come out shout things like rigged & flavoured. But if you claim so, you should be able to backup those claims with logical reasons. If hundred people say the wrong thing is right, it really doesn't make it right.
@borbiletinha@nytimes@TheAthleticFC Definitely. People are obviously entitled to their opinions. But my problem is that when they try to make that opinion a fact irrespective of what's going on. You are entitled to your opinion, or everyone for that purpose.
@borbiletinha@nytimes@TheAthleticFC For Egypt, the same thing didn't happen because there was no foul. Alvarez got the ball 1st, & then Salah's foot made contact with him. That's why it wasn't called as a foul. But in case of Lisandro, the Egyptian didn't get the ball or tried to play it.
@borbiletinha@nytimes@TheAthleticFC And only then intervene & call on onfield referee for check. Again, same thing happened with Argentina. They annulled Argentine goal after the play was over, which was almost 5 mins. Same happened with Nigeria. Same happened with Madrid
@borbiletinha@nytimes@TheAthleticFC Again, learn the VAR rules. You are making a complete fool of yourself here. Ghosh, it's like talking to a wall or to a person with IQ below room temperature. VAR rules says that if there is a foul, & onfield referee missed it, then wait till the play is over
@borbiletinha@nytimes@TheAthleticFC Argentina got two penalties as of now. None of which were match deciding, & both were missed. While France & belgium got match winning penalties. But when you try to find lame excuses, rationality just vanishes.
@borbiletinha@nytimes@TheAthleticFC The same thing I can say, that you don't see the rules being applied because you are biased against Argentina. But here I am telling you about specific rules and examples, while all your argument is like, that goal shouldn't have been disallowed.
