Day 3 | on Thursday night we attended the Menin Gate ceremony, where Hamish played to over 600 people, and Lennon & Darcy lay a wreath on behalf of Newbattle. We were all so proud of them!!
Day 3 | to end the day we then went to Railway Dugout cemetery - here Alessia lit our candle of remembrance, Connor read us a beautiful poem, and our final wreath was laid by Anna & Finlay. Hamish once again gave us an excellent performance to finish the week.
Day 3 | final day started Essex Farm, before moving to Poelcapelle cemetery. Afterwards we marched through Passchendaele to Tynecot cemetery, before visiting the Brooding soldier memorial, and Langemark German cemetery too. 🇧🇪
