Really interesting from @TeacherTapp that teachers put funding & recruitment over SEND & behaviour as main issue. Ofsted down low despite so much media coverage is interesting too.
Not often a whole day of conference hits all the right notes but today exceeded my expectations @gatewayteach@miss_mcinerney the insights were real eye openers. @Doug_Lemov really got me thinking about classrooms and CPD, while @krissakabusi was inspiring, funny and sexy 😜
‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ the rap! Big shout out to @MichaelRosenYes@HelenOxenbury & the @BIGPictureBooks @WalkerBooksUK crew for creating and sharing this classic. Remember: you can’t rap a book if you can’t read a book. Over to you and your crew now.

Great to see this happening. Parents and teachers have had enough. There is simply no reason for a primary school student to have a smartphone and a strong case to ban social media until 16. Piece by @DonnellyStephen https://t.co/c5DY8Gm9Gh
What is it going to take in America?! A primary school teacher shot by 6yr old!! Newport News: Boy aged six detained after shooting teacher in US - BBC News https://t.co/JC7oS9YZsc
They should teach test cricket in schools. All human emotions and life lessons condensed into 5 days. How can it STILL surprise us after all this time?!
(Because it’s the best thing in the world)
@characteratwork Really enjoyed your session on Weds with the Diocese. Just a quick question… we are trying to rethink curriculums and to me the VIA Characters would be a great base for this? Do you know if this has been applied to curriculum building elsewhere?
