Our Nursery Open day will be held on November 24th. We have had two excellent Estyn inspections in 2023 & 2025 where our early years provision was highly praised. Our beachside school offer a modern, engaging, pupil focused curriculum.

Yesterday was another hugely proud moment for our children, their families, and the whole school community. Our Newton Singer Songwriters group travelled to London to compete in the UK Schools National Songwriting Competition for the second consecutive year.

Early on Monday morning our singer songwriter group will be travelling to London to compete in the UK National School Songwriting final for the second time. They will be one of only 12 schools from across the country performing original material. @radiojagger @JoshAndrews1

Thank you to all the parents who supported our first ever ‘Rocksteady Concert’. There were five performances, where the children from years 1-6 demonstrated their skills. We are proud to say we are the only school in Porthcawl and Bridgend that offer the amazing opportunity🤘

Congratulations to our teams who participated in today’ sports tournament. It was nice to see how well behaved and respectful all the children were. It was another proud moment for the school 🤩Many thanks to @PenyfaiPrimary School for hosting the event.

We are excited to have been invited to perform in The Bridgend Welsh festival in Bryngarw Park next weekend. Our singers and instrumentalists will perform at 1pm We are the only second language Welsh school attending and we will be singing completely in Welsh. Pob lwc pawb 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
