@Mumdeep I hope your surgeries go well @Mumdeep . I was diagnosed with Moyamoya disease in July last year after a TIA. Just like you said, it's hard to believe that all of that was going on in our brain for so many years without us knowing it!!!
Finally, leaving academia after 23 years, last 12 years @RMIT. Will miss my students and colleagues, and the teaching. But for now, will just enjoy the cricket without having to think about using it as a material in teaching my Understanding Sports Media course :)
#Moyamoya disease - never heard about it, never thought it would be me! But so glad we have such a wonderful public healthcare system in my adopted country Australia and I walked out with such respect for the wonderful nurses and medical staff @TheRMH in Ward 4 South Neurology.
And another code backs the Voice!
@CricketAus is the latest major sporting organisations to show their support.

‘The 2022 Mapping Social Cohesion Report..found that 61 per cent of Australians believe racism is a very or fairly big problem – an increase from 40 per cent in November 2020 – while just 2 per cent believed racism was not a problem at all.’
It is. https://t.co/wmfHPB6uVD
@gluonspring That’s exactly what my Malaysian brother said too when my husband took him to an AFL game years ago, as an introduction to Melbourne. 😀He said, “oh wow, never seen a football match played on a oval field!”
