This is what it looks like to see patriots lining the hallways of the Capitol building. A big hearty 'Thank You for Your Service' to each of these folks. Praying for your safety, and for the peace of God to rest on our nation.
Joseph to brothers- I love you. I forgive you. I’ll provide for you. It’s all good. But please, (v 24) don’t argue w ea other.
Jesus to Christians- I love you. I forgive you. I’ll provide for you. It’s all good. But please, (v 24) don’t argue w ea other. @ArmchairTheo#Gen45
@ArmchairTheo Yes- esp since the role of a priest is to advocate on behalf of the people to God. A priest is a servant. Seems Jesus had a lot to say about that.
I wonder if the cupbearer failed to mention Joseph to Pharoah because he was scared/didn’t want to rock the boat after the baker was, you know, 😵. #Gen40@ArmchairTheo
@ArmchairTheo Good character is so important in leadership. We all know it when we see it. And also when we don’t. Joseph, a slave, attained a position of significant leadership in Potiphar’s household and in prison, and he displayed godly character the whole time. #Gen39
Imagine what the cultural shame & hopelessness of being a childless widow must have been for Tamar to find both marriage to Shelah & sleeping w her FIL to be preferable alternatives. Men place zero value on women here. She is honored in Jesus’ lineage though. @ArmchairTheo#Gen38
Me- Anah?
Bible- Yeah, Anah. You know the guy who found the hot springs while he was out grazing his donkeys.
Me- Oh, yeah. *That* Anah. 🙄

So disturbing. Again wmn are property/pawns in marriage, politics & business. Did Hivites get what they deserved or was reaction heavy handed? When all dealings are rooted in sin, nobody wins, esp the powerless. What happened to Dinah & Hivite wmn & children? @ArmchairTheo#Gen34
