Dr Julius Kipngetich advises men to outsmart their ever rising women.
Men are facing imense pressure from rising women in the society. Kipngetich has the following advice to men:
1. Increase knowledge by reading a book every week
2. On personal finance, save money and stop overspending in huge SUVs, emulate Chinese minimalist expenditure.
3. Generate more income by having more than one income source since women are earning more than men nowadays.
4. Farming maize when you're in Nairobi doesn't make economic sense. Invest in money market, bonds and treasury bills instead.
5. Don't overspend on relatives instead encourage them to develop their own revenue generating avenues.
6. Always be present, don't stay in pubs until 12AM. Kipngetich personallly gets home by 8pm daily.
7. Learn at least one sports activity, language and music instrument. For example, learn darts or chess or football, local languages such as Kikuyu, Luo or Kalenjin and perfect one music instrument like guitar or piano.
8. Go to church every Sunday, build your relationship with God.
The core of the matter is: keep rising as a man. Don't stagnate.
This song is called Tres impoli (You are impolite) by Franco Makiadi, the leader of TPOK Jazz.
The song is 42 years old. It was recorded in 1984 in Gabon.
It is about an impolite, mannerless man.
The truth about this song is that Franco was impatient with a band member called Papa Ndombe Opetum, whom he sent to police remand for stealing a piece of meat.
Opetum was a stubborn, mannerless band member who, whenever he was sent to buy meat, sliced a portion for himself.
In fact, one of the songs composed for him by Simaro Lutumba, called Mbongo (Money), was later recorded by another obedient member, Djo Mpoyi, because Opetum had misbehaved.
When he sliced Franco's meat, Franco called the police on him. After staying in remand for 2 weeks, Opetum took off and rejoined Tabu Ley's band, Afrisa International.
He is seen here with Tabu Ley's band in a London Live concert, dancing like a comedian in Beyou Ciel's song Embouroumounkoue at 0:04 - 0:08 (https://t.co/isiWn6836M)
It is after Opetum left that Franco composed this song, Tres Impoli (Why are you impolite?)
My favourite verse in the song: 3:25
Chaussette etoboka - (Your socks are torn.)
Okoti na ndako ya bato oti makolo na mesa. Nzoka ezali mesa bato ba lelaka. - (You enter someone’s house and put your legs on the table. Yet people use that table to eat.)
This was Opetum's character.
Later, in 1988, when Franco was sick in Belgium, Opetum sneaked back to TPOK, where he composed two hits, ANGELA and TAWABA (https://t.co/aolQYdYCAe.)
Opetum collapsed and died in Kinshasa on 24th May 2012, aged 68 years.
This video is from 29 July 2021. (When we used to have KG plates).
This is the day we bought this RR pale Mombasa. It had just been imported from South Africa.
I can’t believe it’s almost 5 years later… 40,000+kms later… a thousand trips later 😎. Never skipped a beat. Never seen the check engine light, zero leaks… never topped up coolant (of course it’s not a VW).
This car has been so reliable in so many ways, I have done so many trips including Maasai Mara game drive (twice). It has never failed me and car has totally changed my mentality about Land Rovers. Those who personally know it know how clean it is.
But now it’s time to let it go. It’s a hard decision, but for me to enjoy the G Wagon fully, I need to let it go so that I don’t keep on comparing the two.
Will have it detailed properly and take photos for you guys.(honestly, I don’t even want to do that 😔).
It’s 2014 Range Sport SDV6 HSE. Well specced with original rear entertainment, soft close , panoramic roof etc.
The target price is KES 6,500,000/= (ONO).
The number has always been 0727526576.
The Fozzy SK5 has a fantastic interior, there is a blend of everything from leather, plastic and cloth all across from the seats to the dash. The price however! 😪
@orscrz The target market is quite different. People buying such a car won't care about much of the stats. They are just satisfied by the looks and their names being tagged that they own a lexus or a land cruiser

The thread you have been waiting for 🔥🔥🔥
Last weekend I put my new G350d for a a proper Kenyan road trip.
📍Nairobi → Kitale → Kisumu → Kisii → Nairobi (1,053 km).
Here are my honest thoughts after spending hours behind the wheel. 🧵👇
1/ First things first.
The G-Class is an event.Every fuel station, every town, every parking lot... people were pulling out their phones to take photos and videos. It wasn't just another SUV. It was the talk of every stop. Show stopper indeed. Got the police saluting 🫡 at every road block. It go so much attention that we actually started getting worried with madam… did we make the wrong move ? That was her question 😅
It was very intimidating to the general public 😅.
It’s impossible to go unnoticed 😎. Whether you want attention or not.
Don’t worry guys… I got home safely 😂😂😂.
This is surreal even for me. I need like a day or two to actually accept my new reality.
First impression: this car is super smooth and comfortable AF! Who said these cars are not comfortable? 😳
No forex, no corruption, no kickbacks, no fraud, no Elon money… none of that… !!!
I still can’t believe it😃. If you had asked me 6 years ago… I would have told you this is a dream, but now it’s going to be a memory.
July 2024… pale Ranch House Bistro -Naivasha for lunch and this G Wagon parked next to us… we admired the car .. made a resolution with my wife that we must own one…
Almost 2 years later…
Tomorrow I make the big reveal. 🙏🙏
God has been faithful.
@Kevoh_254@BeaumontWest I love the way that hata kama gari ni mzee aje, they can still take in the most recent (modern) spark plugs and perform efficiently.
