Saturday thought.

Lately, I’ve been following both @quipnetwork and @ama_protocol more closely, and I’m starting to see how their approaches complement each other.

Quip is working on decentralized and verifiable compute, from classical and quantum computing to Proof of Useful Work and post-quantum security.

AMA is taking a different angle: giving agents the ability to actually use these capabilities.

I’ve tried several tasks on AMA Hub, from swaps to agent execution. The difference is pretty clear: an agent isn’t just answering a question; it can process a request and execute an onchain action.

So I see it roughly as:

Compute → Intelligence → Agents → Execution

Quip is building around compute and security.

AMA is building around agents and execution.

What I’m interested in is what happens when decentralized compute and autonomous agents start working together.

That’s something I’ll keep watching.
