Feels like dodgers (plus NY teams maybe) are competing for the best players and the rest of the league competes for the rest.

@_anthonynash @joonlee Everyone knew he was going to the dodgers (except for the blue jays sadly). Why else would there be a bidding war for Soto and not Shohei.

I promise you it’s not because the NY teams didn’t want him, it’s because he was always going to the dodgers. That’s why I’m annoyed.

The point is that’s still way less than he could have gotten as the best player of all time and he did a disservice to other players because he wanted to sign for LAD.
