@MattHancock we responded to the #ppeshortage by producing free #PPE for the #NHS after the govt failed. We distributed 25k garments to the value of £400,000. It was all done by 900+ volunteers backed by a generous businessman and a mosque in Birmingham. We weren't the only ones.

@drphilhammond We launched our #1MILLIONMASKCHALLENGE in Birmingham where we're giving out mask making kits for free to the general public. Each kit comes with enough PPE material for 50 #masks along with elastic and an instruction video.

The 2m rule on social distancing will be relaxed to “1m plus” from July 4th, with people advised to take other precautions such as wearing *face coverings*, the Prime Minister has said.

Our onsite project managers were at LOFT 25 yesterday taking care of our dedicated volunteers.

We reached our first milestone as we've managed to pack enough material to make 100,000 masks so far!

Before the launch of the #1MILLIONMASKCHALLENGE our wonderful volunteers from @GreenLaneMasjid were at @25Loft in force packing hundreds of kits which are currently being given out for free to the public.

We've packed and enough material to make approx 70,000 masks so far!
