@AvonandsomerRob We have had a Dyson stick vacuum for 10 years. Utterly reliable. It's just used up its second battery. You can get good quality non-Dyson ones for about £30. We will never buy a corded vacuum again. It will clean most of the house on 1 charge, two max.
