A64: I would make a doctor check every single refugee for diseases so they can not bring it into my country because a lot of people wouldn't be happy. The ones that are sick I would make the get treatment for the disease. #RefygeeHS

A58: Alan did this to raise intensity when you read the story and it makes the story more interesting. I think Mahmoud is the only one that will reach their destination in the story and maybe Isabel as well. #RefugeeHS

A57: I think Mahmoud is very strong and doesn't let the worst part of his life get the best of him. In the story, at the moment Mahmoud is being very strong for his family. Mahmoud's feeling is not easily broken because they were already broken earlier in the story. #RefugeeHS

A56: I think it is very symbolic because I think when Isabel's mom went into labor it shows new begging in the family and a new chapter in their life they have to take care of now. #RefugeeHS

A55: I think he chose to do this because it gives the story a bit of a plot twist and makes the story more interesting to the reader now that the stories have almost connected and are showing signs that the stories might connect. #RefugeeHS

A53: In the long term this event will have a negative effect on all of them. they just hijacked a ship. If someones go and tell the police what they did they can all go to jail including Josef. #RefugeeHS

A52: I feel like Isabel's family is in the worst situation because they don't even have a sturdy boat and they are struggling with the baby that's coming. #RefugeeHS

A51: At this point, Mahmoud's family are really tired and they just want to live a normal life they don't want any more problems in their life they just want to be a happy family. #RefugeeHS

A50: I do understand the references because everyone that was on the St.Louis was a refugee and they are also refugees. NO the impact of Josef's story does not change anything. I think that they will be invited into Cuba and they could live there now. #RefugeeHS

A49: It is useful for all three characters because if they pray to they will ask for help and they will ask for peace and love and for nothing bad to happen anymore. They have all went through enough stress so they want to pray to ask for help. #RefugeeHS

A48: I don't think it has any effect on the reader at this time and moment. Yes, it does seem a lot more challenging then I thought because they have struggles and they have to use all these methods of transportation they only have a certain amount of money. #RefugeeHS

A47: I would protest so they could stay on the boat because I feel like they were treated unfairly and this is not okay. I think they were permitted to leave because of something they did on the boat. #RefugeeHS
