@Jaymc_85 @MPSSpecials @MPSWForest @MPSNewham Very pedantic comment. It’s from a specials account so pretty obvious it’s a S/SGT and you don’t see them often referring to regular sergeants as Police Sergeant / PS. They also use Sergeant

Shorthand in this instance is perfectly fine for those without a fragile ego to protect.

@sc_survey I’d ask that you continue, you’ve put out and maintained some really useful data that everyone in the SC is grateful for - those in forces where SCs are not treated so well can point to this data and leverage it for the better

Whenever specials attend a state 0 / emergency button the officer who wants help won’t be checking if the attending officer is a special or questioning if they’re really job

@Miles_PBH Genuine question.. is it common to have retained Firefighters in specialist roles. I don’t think it is. You’re standard response only as far as I’m aware… again happy to be corrected. But if they’re paying you lose autonomy. Not good for the SC
