@LAGovJeffLandry@realDonaldTrump As pressure mounts from the Epstein files, expect Trump to get more chaotic and more dangerous as he tries to drag the spotlight anywhere (like Greenland) but what the documents say about him.
@PatrickSvitek If Lindsey Graham defended Donald Trump this way, Democrats would see it instantly. But when Ro Khanna defends Graham Platner, suddenly the standards change.
@kaitlancollins@kpolantz@HBRabinowitz He didn't just mishandle, he intentionally sent notes to himself so he could write his book. And then Iran hacked his email. About as gross misconduct as one can get.
@nytmike@DevlinBarrett John Bolton, another creature of Washington--complete disregard for our national safety so he can line his pockets with book sales.
@LPDonovan Platner and Piker, sure. Both represent depravity.
But Talarico doesn't mix. Some strange comments but Rogan even called him a good Christian.
I said on @MSNOW just now:
What *is* the Trump slush fund?
It's not an appropriation: Congress did not vote.
It's not a settlement: There was no valid litigation because (as the judge said) Trump was suing himself.
On what basis is this money leaving the Treasury?
Maybe the most staggering thing about the "Anti-Weaponization Fund" is how much of a black box it is. Five hand-picked Trump goobers empowered to set 100 percent of the procedures and make 100 percent of the decisions w/ zero oversight or transparency.

This is baloney. For starters Poland was not notified. Senior leaders contacted me yesterday saying they were blindsided. And… I’ve learned EUCOM did NOT say there was minimal risk by cancelling the deployment. This was a foolish and embarrassing course of events.
What is the said purpose of the resolution? To stop future government shutdowns.
Will the resolution actually have any affect on stopping shutdowns? No.
Why? Because deferring few thousand dollars for a few weeks is meaningless to a millionaire. No incentive.
So what's the real reason for passing the resolution? So they can say they took action. It's a nice soundbite on the campaign trail.
I'm not sure how this is confusing.
@KathMadden91004@AnthonyAdragna Principle of what? They are lying to you that they are doing something to incentive good government. They are doing to boost their reelection messaging.
@nicksortor It’s all performative BS. They’ll get the backpay when the government reopens, and most of these guys are millionaires. Delaying a few thousand dollars for a couple weeks means nothing to them.
