Yesterday I did a spectacular Manhattan loop.
About 33k steps and roughly 12 - 14 miles.
Started at Penn Station and headed down Sixth Avenue through Madison Square Park, Union Square, Washington Square Park, Greenwich Village, Bleecker Street, SoHo, Tribeca, the Financial District, and all the way to Battery Park.
From there I ripped north along Hudson River Park, passed Little Island, Chelsea Piers, worked my way up 10th ave, and finished back at Moynihan Station.
Magnificent.
I didn't feel threatened once. I didn't see anything disgusting outside of the occasional bum, which existed even during the Bloomberg years.
New York City is booming, exactly like I said it would.
This has nothing to do with me owning real estate. I'm telling you what I saw with my own eyes.
The city was packed. The restaurants were packed. The parks were packed. Beautiful day, beautiful energy. People were outside. People were smiling. Businesses were busy.
There has never been a better time to be walking around New York City.
The people screaming that you're going to come here and get killed are selling boomer slop. Nobody believes that anymore.
If you want to win people over politically, you don't do it with propaganda. You don't do it with fear.
You do it by showing people reality.
The younger generation isn't going to be convinced by talking points. They're going to be convinced by what they see with their own eyes.
If you think someone is a disaster for the future of the city, state, or country, make the case honestly. Show the results. Show the facts.
That's how you win.
Truth beats propaganda every time.
Btw.. young bros…
The women on NYC, especially down by HRP are off the charts. Open your eyes and leave the OnlyFans hub of Miami.
People who are against kids eating meals at the school they are required to be at are the worst people in the world.
People who say "it's not free, it's MY TAXES". Good! Feed kids, build a better community. That's a GREAT use of taxes you selfish asshole!
In an increasingly digital society, where technology brings distant people closer together, yet often creates distances between those who are physically close, sport proves a valuable and concrete means of bringing individuals together, providing a healthier sense of the body, of space, effort and real time. It helps to preserve a healthy contact with nature and with real life, where genuine love is experienced.
Big day for Jeffrey Lurie and his Eagles Autism Foundation. They raised a record-breaking $10+ million this year alone through the Eagles Autism Challenge – their annual cycling and 5k run/walk – thanks to 7,266 participants. All together since 2018, they now have raised $40 million for cutting-edge autism research and care programs.
Really sad to turn off replies.
One of the most disappointing seasons I’ve ever witnessed. 3 straight years of not making the tourney.
No President, No AD, a coach who still believes in the pre-NIL world of college hoops. What is there to look forward to?
There were 529 actively managed US equity mutual funds ranked in the top quartile of performance at the end of 2019. 3 years later, not a single one of these funds remained in the top quartile. You read that right.
Finding active funds that can beat the market over time is borderline impossible.
@NJHoopsHaven Thanks for sharing Jerry. From someone who grew up there, this hits the nail on the head. Neptune and the surrounding towns (Asbury, Long Branch, Ocean Twp) have bascially become unaffordable for most of the locals
Billy, this Dylan Harper and Ace Bailey. Dylan is amazing and Ace is a generational talent who can hit Kevin Durant-like shots. They both decided to go to Rutgers and earn some respect.
Problem is, no one else knows how to play and the coach doesn’t run an offense (or teach FTs)
Chris Long with the best five minutes you'll hear today on the Jason Kelce situation.
"The internet culture has ruined real life and there's too many people who grew up in situations where they never got punched in the face."
An unbelievable This Is Football with @JOEL9ONE.
