@postandcourier Ranked choice voting produces worse elected officials because elections get manipulated more easily. Alaska used ranked choice voting and ended up with a less popular Democratic Representative because of voter splits. Better a candidate receives the majority of votes in a runoff.

@postandcourier We need more power generation. If we cannot build a solar power plant on private land that is not old forest, under what circumstances will we be able to build more power generation? Are we just saying no to all additional power generation? This needs to go through.

@RepNancyMace This is terrible policy, South Carolina should be leading the way on data center construction to include ensuring data center companies furnish their own energy and water. We are missing out on an opportunity to responsibly bring billions of $ into South Carolina.

@postandcourier Yes! Get rid of state income tax. Income tax is one of the worst taxes possible - the most successful states in the country have zero income tax. We can do it here too.

@zerohedge My family and I have visited Joel Salatin's Polyface Farm after reading about it in The Omnivore's Dilemma. Joel's farm is incredible and what he's doing is a model for US agriculture.
