Good lesson design in a nutshell. If it doesn’t support students moving toward mastery of the overall target, think hard about whether it should be included. Check for understanding throughout. https://t.co/CdC11Gr0Lu
@eduleadership Well said. It’s more than just the pto thing. If we want to be treated and respected as professionals, it’s important that we approach our work as professionals, driven by purpose.
@PrincipalPick Posting the target does little if there is no connection between it and the lesson or work that’s being done. I remind teachers that the posted target is for them just as much as it is for students. It keeps them focused on the purpose of the lesson and work. It’s an anchor.
Part of growing is hearing from others who have learned through similar failures. Crucial conversations need to happen at every level. Not having them has long-lasting, negative impacts on everyone in the organization. @Joshua__Stamper https://t.co/U7Ak262Z6r
Worth the listen! Reflective question: How can leaders and members of a team create and support a culture that welcomes disagreement? @GregoryMcKeown https://t.co/0iFfSjoLNh
Recommend for teachers in year 1, year 30 and everyone in between. Classroom management is not always the most exciting topic to talk about. But it is a thing and it so matters. @Wes_Kieschnick https://t.co/C5fsq2qQAA
Dude…we need to up the urgency to ensure grade level or better for ALL kids. The work isn’t passive. Grateful for the affirmations, but more importantly the convictions found here. @unfoldthesoul
